BCFED launches Fight For 15$

,

The BC Federation of Labour is pushing for the minimum wage to be raised from 10.25$ to 15$ per hour. The current minimum wage is not high enough for an adult, full-time worker to be raised above the poverty line.

In March the group lobbied to have it raised to 13$ an hour. Today it launched the Fight For 15$ campaign and urged people to sign a petition.
