City restores $100,000 for social housing after community pressure

The City of Victoria has voted to keep the Housing Trust Fund at $500,000, after a previous vote to drop $100,000.

Bowing to community pressure, Victoria councillors Thursday reinstated $100,000 they had earlier cut from social-housing funds as part of budget austerity measures.
