Demand for meals skyrockets at Victoria’s Our Place

,

Need in our region has increased, and so has the number of meals Our Place serves.

Victoria’s Our Place Society says the demand for meals has increased dramatically in the past year. Staff say they are serving up to 2000 meals a day right now. Part of the reason for the huge growth in demand is because the Mustard Seed food bank is no longer offering cooked meals, but there is also just more people living in poverty.
