Film sheds light on domestic violence

Victoria Women’s Transition House is hosting a screening of Heaven on Earth to raise awareness of domestic abuse.

Victoria Women’s Transition House Society hopes to spotlight domestic abuse sharing an award-winning film. “We wanted to increase public awareness and encourage dialogue and discussion around domestic violence,” said Marianne Sorensen, development manager for the society. “Transition House, through all of its programs and through its mandate, is wanting to create a society that is striving to prevent and eliminate abuse and build strong, healthy resilient families.”
