Trust fund will help former B.C. foster children

The Government of BC has established a trust fund for former foster children to access post-secondary.

Children and youth in government care born after 2007 will have access to a trust fund to pursue educational goals after high school, the Ministry of Advanced Education said Monday. The trust fund was announced as new statistics released by the Ministry of Children and Family Development confirm the dire outcomes for this group of people.
