The City of Victoria held an open house on Micro-Housing as a solution to homelessness in our region.

Inside city hall, police, politicians and people from the community met to talk about using ‘micro-housing’ to address Victoria’s growing problem with homeless campers sheltering in public parks. “I’m not sure this is sustainable permanent housing but its certainly better than somebody sleeping in a tent in a park and being woken up by a police officer,” says Coun. Ben Isitt.
