Victoria parking meters support the city’s homeless

,

Kindness Meters have popped up on Frot St, proceeds going to 9-10 Club and Pacifica Housing.

They may be the only parking meters you WANT to put money into. Two brightly coloured “Kindness Meters” have been installed in the 700 block of Fort Street to help support the city’s homeless population. Spear-headed by the Fort Street Business Association, proceeds from the meters will support Pacific Housing and The 910 Club. The group homes to raise $7500 in each meter by November.
