All proceeds from the annual Vista 18 pancakes with Santa breakfast go to the Times Colonist Christmas Fund.
This year’s breakfast is its usual sellout, which means 355 people will be enjoying pancakes and a visit with the Clauses from 9am until noon. Guests give a minimum donation of 8$ per child and 15$ per adult. About 1200 pancakes will be flipped and served, with executive chef Garrett Schack leading the way. The Hotel’s Yvonne Kemeny says the Christmas Fund is a worthy cause.
