A Victoria man experiencing homelessness hopes to discuss issues of poverty directly with the mayor, Lisa Helps.
A Victoria homeless man is taking his plight directly to the mayor, but rather than going to City Hall, he’s going to her home, with a plan of camping on Lisa Helps’ front lawn. Brandon Clarkson became homeless four months ago after his business fell through. He set up his tent overnight in Esquimalt’s West Bay Parkway. This morning a police officer told him he had to leave and made an unusual suggestion as to where he should go.
