This Christmas, we are Shining a Light on Youth Homelessness. We believe that every youth in our community deserves a safe place to call home. We hope to spread awareness of what we do to support at-risk and vulnerable youth in our community, and raise funds to support our program through our Christmas campaign.
We would love to invite you to our Winter Carnival in Bastion Square, which takes place from 1:30pm – 4:30pm on December 1st. There will be live music, hot chocolate, Santa, Christmas themed activities, and a tree lighting. We are lighting the largest tree in Bastion Square to serve as a beacon of light to the vulnerable youth in our community, and as a sign to let the youth know that there is a community supporting them.
If you are interested in how to get involved or would like to help! We have partnered with Silk Road Tea to create a ’12 Days’ of tea gift box that you can gift to a loved one this holiday season! The tea boxes are available to purchase by visiting our office at 1524 Fort Street, emailing us at assist@thresholdhousing.ca, or calling us at 250-383-8830. These make the perfect gift during the holiday season and all proceeds come to Threshold Housing!
