The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSVP) Social Concern Office, in partnership with Victoria Cool Aid Society and Our Place Society, is hosting an Art Opening, to highlight and learn about the art on display at the Social Concern Office lobby and common areas.
All artists and supporters are invited to this Opening. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, from 4-6 pm inside the Social Concern Office located at 833 Yates St. Media who would like to view the artwork prior to the Art Opening, can arrange to do so with George Pine, whose contact information is below.
All art on display at the Social Concern Office was created by emerging artists in the Victoria community who face one or more barriers in exhibiting their art privately, and all art will be available for purchase. For this event, the artists will also be bringing new pieces of art for display as a temporary addition to the gallery.
Refreshments will be provided, and entrance is free.
