Frank Stanford questions the Coalition’s goal to build affordable housing.
I’m of two minds on this new direction, being taken by Victoria’s Coalition to End Homelessness. Yes, affordable housing for working people is an issue. Thousands of Victorians are spending more than a third of their gross incomes on rent. Many thousands are spending more than a quarter of their gross incomes on rent. It’s a struggle.
