Project ReConnect 2025 is shaping up to be a day of shared conversation, learning, fellowship, food, and entertainment!
The Downtown Service Providers (DSP) Committee is bringing back Project Reconnect (formerly known as Project Connect) in November 2025.
The Downtown Service Providers (DSP) Committee will host Project Reconnect on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM onwards at the Central Baptist Church (833 Pandora Ave).
This annual service fair provides community members experiencing homelessness and poverty with access to free services, resources, and referrals.
We are holding this year’s event in the fall. As we settle into the cold and rainy season, it’s a good time to check in with community members to ensure we are meeting their practical needs.
For many years, the DSP Committee has organized this annual service fair that provides community members experiencing homelessness and poverty, with access to free services, resources, and referrals. This event is generously sponsored by the United Way BC. Project Reconnect brings together service providers to provide services including medical care, ID replacement, haircuts, foot care, veterinary help, and much more. Each of the estimated 200-300 people who attend Project Reconnect will receive their “care pack” – filled with essential items including socks and gloves, personal hygiene items, and other necessities.
